{"id":273,"date":"2021-05-30T12:18:10","date_gmt":"2021-05-30T16:18:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/capablecoach.com\/articles\/?p=273"},"modified":"2024-05-18T12:37:16","modified_gmt":"2024-05-18T16:37:16","slug":"smart-smarter-and-smartest-goals-revisited","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lindabolle.com\/articles\/2021\/05\/30\/smart-smarter-and-smartest-goals-revisited\/","title":{"rendered":"SMART, SMARTER, and SMARTEST Goals Revisited"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my <a href=\"https:\/\/lindabolle.com\/articles\/2019\/11\/03\/smart-smarter-or-smartest-what-kind-of-goals-would-you-like-to-achieve\/\">previous post<\/a> on the topic of SMART, SMARTER, and SMARTEST goals, I discussed the benefits of crafting goals that are SMARTER than SMART, or, better yet, the SMARTEST goals of all. Since that time, I\u2019ve been asked to provide an example to <br>illustrate my point, and that is the purpose of this article. <br>Now, why is it important to take the time to craft a clearly-defined goal before you attempt to pursue it? In the words of Carl Jones, \u201ca goal clearly defined is a goal half attained.\u201d<br>I\u2019d like to begin by asking you to identify a goal that you\u2019d like to achieve.
